SBIR/STTR Introduction and Phase I Proposal Preparation Workshop
Georgia Institute of Technology – Atlanta, GA
Technology Square Research Building (TSRB)
September 6, 2006

THE SBIR/STTR PROGRAM:

Q: Where does a small, technology business get money to develop innovative new products and services?

A: The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) & Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs

The main goal of this workshop is to help technology firms learn how to tap into a $2+ billion dollar business resource through the National SBIR/STTR Program! Some agencies, like the Dept. of Defense and NASA, fund projects for their own internal use. Other agencies, like NSF and USDA, fund projects where the ultimate customer is some other private or public entity.

Sponsored by: The National Science Foundation

Hosted by: The SBIR Assistance Program for the State of Georgia
at Georgia Institute of Technology
